Johnny Hedgehog and the Summer Holidays by Cherry Jordan

Johnny Hedgehog and the Summer Holidays is a story of friendship and discovery. When the school bell rings for the last time, Johnny can hardly wait to dive into the freedom of long summer days. The summer starts with an exciting game to pick the destination of the family holiday. While on holiday Johnny finds a beautiful glass bottle and this simple find leads Johnny on the adventure of his life.

Sometimes funny, sometimes a little tricky, but always interesting!

Cherry launched her first book Johnny Hedgehog and the Summer Holidays in the Park Community Centre on Saturday the 29th August 2026. The event was attended by local children and families. There was arts and crafts, balloon making, teas and coffees, cupcakes and a book reading. The event was a huge success and Cherry will be donating the proceeds of the book to Barnados.
